Review: Poison Princess by Kresley Cole

Very good book even if the heroine is a little slow on the uptake. I don't understand why she didn't tell Jackson right away who Selena was. She had already told him about voices in her heads, including one saying "behold the bringer of doubts", and the visions she had been having. He obviously believed her, I mean the visions came true and even HE couldn't deny she had strange abilities. Selena wouldn't have caused any trouble between them if Evie had just leaned over and told him "that girl is trouble because I dreamed she killed someone and was saving an arrow for me". And another thing! If She didn't trust Selena, why would she tell her about her grandmother?

I really think Jackson is a stupid, stupid guy. I mean he says he's been around the supernatural in the bayou but when a girl he tries to sleep with turns out to be as ruthless as he is to survive he suddenly reverts into a good catholic boy.

I can't wait for the next book because even though she and Death are destined to kill each other, I can't help feeling like there is something between them. From what I understand, he has been stalking her for centuries and is facinated with her gifts. She enjoys taunting him and finds him beautiful. They both repsect eachother's battle skills.
